October 2006...Things are moving right along! Our local social worker sent our homestudy to Holt for the final approval and thank God it all went through! So we finally, officially have our Adoption Homestudy...whew.

We also have an appointment on the 18th to do our fingerprints. Once the fingerprints are done we will get our I-171H, which is the last document we need for our dossier. Right now Holt is saying the dossiers for special needs children are being processed in less than 2 months. Once the dossier has been processed we will travel to China to get Katy.

I have to remind myself that we are almost done and will have our daughter soon. This waiting is driving me crazy though and making me a very cranky person. I just want to bring Katy home already!!!
